Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and how to have it removed.

Shaft and Club is a registered trade name (DBA) of Ingenmente LLC, which is the data controller for the information described here. We collect as little as possible, we do not sell or rent data, and we do not run advertising trackers.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and roughly where traffic comes from. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, does not build a profile of you across sites, and does not track you around the web. It reports aggregate figures such as page views and referrers. We use this only to see what is useful and to fix what is broken.
Licensing email capture
If you enter your email address on our data licensing page, we store that address along with the time you submitted it and your browser's user-agent string. We use this for one purpose: to notify you when the licensing dataset becomes available. We do not add you to a newsletter, we do not share the list, and we send no marketing beyond that single notice. The record is held in Cloudflare storage on our behalf.
Data error reports
If you report a data error through the form on our data pages, we store the report text, the page it was filed from, the time, and your browser's user-agent string, plus your email address if you choose to leave one. We use that email for one purpose: to tell you what happened with your report. Reports are held in Cloudflare storage on our behalf, and a copy of the report text (never your email) is filed in our private issue tracker. Deletion works the same way as described below.
Feature requests
If you send a feature request through our requests page, we store the options you picked, any text you wrote, the time, and your browser's user-agent string, plus your email address if you choose to leave one. We use that email for one purpose: to tell you if the thing you asked for ships. Requests are held in Cloudflare storage on our behalf. Deletion works the same way as described below.
How to request deletion
Email hello@shaftandclub.com and ask us to remove your details. We will delete your email capture record on request. The analytics figures are aggregate and not tied to you, so there is nothing individual to remove there.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions about how we handle data can go to the same address.
