Shaft and Club maintains a structured, source-cited dataset of golf club specifications, shaft specifications, adapter compatibility, and used-club valuations.
The same data that powers the public site will be available to license for research, retail tooling, and apps. Licensing access opens in Q1 2027.
Accuracy is maintained in the open: every data page on the site carries a report link, and every report is checked against a verifiable source before a change ships.
Sleeve interchange and stock shaft pairings
Shaft compatibility is a property of the sleeve, not the shaft line: a used shaft carries the sleeve of the head it was pulled from, so the dataset's core asset is the researched sleeve interchangeability graph, which adapter generations a given head accepts, including confirmed non-fits, not a shaft-to-head derivation.
Records, for every adjustable driver in the catalog, which other sleeve generations its hosel accepts. This is the donor axis: a shaft pulled from any accepted sleeve's head drops straight into the target head.
Curated separately: a specific shaft SKU confirmed as a model's factory stock build, sourced from the manufacturer or a cross-checked retailer listing.
The sleeve interchangeability graph, the stock pairings, and the shaft catalog (SKU-level specs: weight, flex, torque, tip diameter) are all licensable.
